The really smart, looks 40 years younger than she is, and gracious wife wants to move back to the Hong Kong area. Not Hong Kong proper, but one of the satellite cities around HK and Shenzhen. We're looking at moving in 2027.
If we move back, I don't think we'll ever live in the US again. It will be a permanent place. On the one hand, happily go because it is where my wife wants to be. On the other hand, while China is nice, it will never be home. I'd rather go to Hong Kong, but it is too expensive.
